What is it?
A movement practice designed to restore the body's natural order. It teaches your body how to move and properly support itself to reduce pain and prevent injury.
How does it work?
Foundation Training uses a combination of powerful movements, intentional poses and conscious breathing work to activate the muscles in the posterior chain. This strengthens the muscles in the torso, pelvis and back in correct proportions to reduce pain and establish proper movement patterns through the hips.
How is it different from what I am already doing?
Many exercise or rehabilitation programs focus on a specific area of the body. While at times this is appropriate, it can also lead to the development of improper overall movement of the body and further imbalances. Foundation Training is different in that it integrates the movement of the entire body to establish the correct pattern of proper body movement and support.
