Hello! My name is Lauren Simons and I would like to introduce myself as the wellness consultant at Cloud 9 Chiropractic and Day Spa. I believe that health problems cannot be eliminated without first determining the true cause of the problem. I help people get well by consulting with them about their overall health and determining the primary cause of their health problem. My job is to find out what every other doctor you have seen for your complaint has missed. The methods that I use are unique, and because I use methods that are unique I often get results that no one else gets. We will set you on the road to healing.
I believe that there are two categories of disease. The first is infectious disease, and these diseases are the types that are treated through medical treatment. The second is what we call functional disorders. Functional disorders are those that result from a systemic or organ malfunction, such as asthma, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia. Through the methods I use, I address these functional disorders as well as spinal complaints and any relationship that may occur between them.
There are three primary causes of functional disorders that I address. The first cause is biochemical imbalances. These are likely caused by poor or incorrect nutrition or obesity that leads to hormonal imbalance. The second cause is stress, which often interferes with hormone balance. The third cause is trauma, which includes mental, physical, chemical and emotional. Physical traumas as small as bruises are capable of creating imbalances in the nervous system.
Come in today for an evaluation and let us help you get back to being well!
